Candle & Wax Melts Care
Candle Care Rituals
A few thoughtful steps keep every glow gorgeous and pristine.
Wick & Burn Rituals
Your candle arrives perfectly snipped—before each lighting, trim the cotton wick to a tidy ¼ inch. For its maiden voyage, let the melt pool nearly reach the vessel’s edge (about 3–4 hours) to prevent tunneling and unlock the full fragrance journey. For every burn thereafter, limit sessions to 4 hours or less; longer flames invite carbon build‑up and a mushroomed wick. Do not use the lid to extinguish the flame.
Set the Scene
Rest your candle on a level, fire‑resistant surface—far from drafts or vents. A wandering breeze coaxes smoke and soot where none belong.
Final Flicker & Afterglow
When just ¼ inch of wax remains, extinguish the flame and retire the vessel for safety. Cleanse the empty glass or tin and let it shine anew—as a succulent planter, pen cup, or treasure keeper. Naturally aromatic notes—bright citrus, warm cinnamon, creamy vanilla—may tint the interior; consider it a graceful reminder of what once glowed within.
Wax Melt Etiquette
Melt Magic
Use only an approved wax warmer—25 W is our sweet spot. Follow your warmer manufacturer's instructions. Add one cube at a time; allow it to liquefy before adding more, and never overfill.
Cool Storage
Tuck your clamshells in a cool, dry place to preserve every note.
Tidy Farewell
When the scent fades, warm just enough to loosen the wax, slide it out with a tissue, and discard—never down the drain.
